Students at St. Andrew's experience a vibrant, spiritual school life at our beautiful 16-acre campus in Clifton, VA. Strong coursework, Catholic education, and rich STEM, athletic, and outdoor activities prepare our students well for the future. The PTO mission is to organize our St. Andrew's community around supporting this experience. We work to create bonds between parents and the school and to build relationships with the community and Parish.
Our goal is to create a strong and welcoming environment for everyone who enters our door at St. Andrew's School. This is accomplished through a large range of programs, from school picnics and father/daughter dances to chili cook-offs and book fairs. We host three large fundraisers each year- St Andrew's 10K/5K & Fun Run, our spring Race for Education, and the community favorite Forks, Corks & Kegs. Smaller fundraisers and affiliate links supplement these larger events. Past fundraisers have raised money for a new preschool playground, the iPad library, Robotics Club, ACTIV boards, new computers and textbooks, the Science Fair, the Lab Learners hands-on science curriculum, assembly presentations, etc.
There are three General Board meetings that all parents and teachers are encouraged to attend.
Monthly Executive Board meetings are held in the Teacher's Lounge, and all are welcome to attend.
