Outdoor Adventure & Scouting Groups

St. Andrew School students have the opportunity to participate in the following outdoor adventure groups:

Trail Life:                                                                                                                                                                    Trail Life USA is the premier Christ-centered outdoor character, development and adventure program centering on guiding young men to honor God, lead with integrity, serve others and experience outdoor adventure. Scouting America:
St. Andrew's program consistently achieves Scouting America and the Catholic Committee on Scouting objectives of service to God, service to community, character development, citizenship, and personal fitness. Typical activities include: white water rafting, beach camping at Assateague Island, hike and winter camping at Sky Meadows State Park, hiking the Occoquan, skiing in Canaan Valley, and participating in a regional food drive annually (just before Thanksgiving). Girl Scouts USA:
Girl Scouting provides girls (Grades K - 12) with opportunities at the troop, service unit, and council levels to develop important life-skills while having fun with friends. Program activities include working on journeys, patch/badge activities, religious emblems, service projects, camping, scouts’ areas of interest, and leadership development.
